About Me

Portrait of Lakaaysha van Ewijk

Born in 1998, Lakaaysha van Ewijk is a Dutch film director and multimedia artist of Ugandan-Surinamese heritage. Blending documentary realism with experimental visual collage, her work redefines narrative boundaries. Based in Amsterdam and trained in the Netherlands, Italy, and Germany, she crafts visually and emotionally impactful stories.
